The HY-SHIELD fully encloses the hydrant and with its reflective post standing six feet tall, hydrants will be well protected and easy to find. When the HY-SHIELD is removed from the hydrant, taking only a moment without tools, firefighters will find the hydrant clean, dry and ready to use. Even if the area around the hydrant is not cleared, hose connections and valves are immediately accessible.
